Aging In Place Safely

Empowering Independence / Honoring Legacy / Strengthening Our Communities

At abiRiver Consulting, we help older adults live safely and confidently in the homes they love — or transition with dignity to the right space for their next chapter. Whether you're aging in place or preparing to move, our mission is to remove the overwhelm, reduce the risk, and offer peace of mind.

Why Do I Need One?

Whether you're looking for yourself wanting to remain in your home as long as you can, or someone wanting advice for a loved one's current home, we're here to answer any questions you may have.

Real Estate That Plans for the Long Run

As a licensed real estate agent and Aging in Place specialist, I guide buyers through the home buying process or building process with the future in mind. I help identify homes that offer flexibility for changing needs, or can be affordably upgraded for accessibility — adding long-term value and security.

Accessible features are an affordable upgrade today that can save thousands down the road. Planning ahead isn’t just smart — it’s responsible, and deeply respectful of the life you're building.

Why This Matters

Many of our clients are living in the same homes they bought 30–50+ years ago — homes that
served them well, but now no longer meet their needs. By supporting them in transitioning to
safer, more accessible homes, we help them age in the right place for the next 20 years — not
just the same place.

And there's a broader benefit: when these cherished homes are passed on to the next generation, they become affordable housing options for today’s first-time homebuyers — families who might otherwise be shut out of our current market.

We call it the Life Cycle of Real Estate — a healthy, ongoing exchange that lets generations take care of one another, simply by making intentional housing choices. When we keep that cycle turning, our whole community thrives.

Let's Build a Safer, Smarter Future Together

We proudly collaborate with senior living communities, hospitals, home builders, educators, municipalities, and caregivers to close the gap between where people live and how they live.

Whether you're planning ahead, navigating a move, or just starting to ask questions — we're here to help.
